It features a wide field of view greater than 130 degrees, sharp focus on both the foreground and background, and AI-powered capabilities that dynamically adjust the video feed. This means that as people enter or leave the room, or when someone interacts with the content on the Surface Hub, the camera automatically re-frames the view to keep remote participants engaged.

The AI functionality in the Surface Hub 2 Smart Camera allows it to automatically adjust the video feed based on the dynamics of the room. For instance, if someone leaves or new participants join, the camera re-frames the view to ensure that everyone is visible to remote participants. This intelligent adjustment helps maintain a seamless and inclusive meeting experience.

The Surface Hub 2 Smart Camera has been available for purchase separately since March 2022. Additionally, it will be included in the box with the Surface Hub 2S 85” starting in the same month, making it easier for users to access this technology as part of their collaboration setup.
