StorMagic SvSAN is a software-defined storage solution designed to simplify virtualized storage environments. SvSAN licenses are based on usable Virtual Storage Appliance (VSA) capacity, with tiers set at 2TB, 6TB, 12TB, and Unlimited TB. These licenses are perpetual, meaning after a one-time payment, they can be used indefinitely. The license includes all necessary features for high availability and shared storage, with additional options for caching and data encryption available as add-ons.

SvSAN includes a data encryption feature that allows organizations to encrypt data being mirrored by the system. This feature is FIPS 140-2 compliant and compatible with any Key Management System (KMS) that uses KMIP, including StorMagic's own key manager, SvKMS.
