According to research by Enterprise Management Associates (EMA), 85% of companies have seen a permanent increase in the number of employees working from home at least part-time. Post-pandemic, it's expected that about 70% of employees will only be in the office two to three days a week.

The shift to hybrid work has led 71% of enterprises to increase their investment in on-premises LAN infrastructure. This includes upgrading to high-bandwidth Wi-Fi and high-density switching to support real-time applications and increased mobility. Additionally, network management practices must adapt to be more agile and utilize cloud-based tools for better accessibility and efficiency.

Forty-two percent of organizations report that new compliance and security requirements are their biggest challenges in a hybrid work environment. Many are addressing these challenges by modernizing their access controls and investing in new security technologies to manage the complexities introduced by remote work and the expanded attack surface.
