Drive (SSD) Retention allows customers to retain their removable SSD during service events at no additional charge. This feature enhances data security by minimizing public exposure of sensitive information during repairs, as customers keep their original drive.

Microsoft Protection Plans provide extended coverage beyond the standard 1-year warranty, including options for accidental damage protection, drive SSD retention, and advanced exchange services. These plans help customers protect their investment and ensure continued device use.
